Have you ever wondered where the next generation of International leaders will come from?

Leaders who are committed to peace and justice in the Middle East and across the world? Givat Haviva International School (GHIS) opened in August 2018, to create a group of leaders with the skills and desire to work together towards a more equitable and sustainable future.

GHIS is a high school like no other in the world.  Located in Wadi Ara in Israel - the school brings together a unique student body - 25% Jews from Israel, 25% Palestinians from Israel and the other 50% from all over the world - many from conflict zones.

Our students are living and learning together, breaking down barriers and creating life-long friendships. They study the internationally respected IB Diploma Programme combined with a bespoke curriculum in Conflict Resolution, Diplomacy and Social Entrepreneurship.

Over 60% of our students are girls (some from countries with gender discrimination such as South Sudan, Armenia and Palestine)  - who are now gaining the skills and more importantly, the confidence, to become future leaders.

Our focus on academic excellence and leadership capability means that the students come from a range of socio-economic backgrounds; the majority are unable to meet the tuition fees for a world class education . With the very important help of our supporting partners GHIS is offering them, their communities the region and the world hope for a better future.
