Givat Haviva International
Since its founding more than 70 years ago, Givat Haviva has been identified with cooperation, dialogue, equality, and social justice between Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel. The campus is a vibrant space where joint experiential learning and engagement take place through a range of innovative programs and activities.
Givat Haviva International hosts groups from abroad to share our vision of equality and intercultural understanding. Participants from academic and communal organizations from around the world gain an important perspective on the cultural diversity of the region, its geo-politics and its people. One of its outstanding entities is Givat Haviva International School (GHIS), an IB boarding school for high-school students from around the world and throughout Israel. GHIS has become a model of a shared society, where students live and learn together on-campus for up to three years. A highlight of many visitors’ experiences is meeting students from very different communities in Israel and abroad and hearing about the challenges and opportunities this presents.
Givat Haviva International offers a unique venue for hosting meetings, conferences, and camps where youth, students, educators, community activists, and leaders can generate ideas and initiatives.
