Givat Haviva has been granted Special Consultative Status to the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). This grants Givat Haviva a number of privileges and obligations, recognizing the importance and relevance of our work advancing shared society and establishing a direct relationship between the organization and the United Nations.

On May 21, 2018, Givat Haviva's Executive Director, Yaniv Sagee, addressed the UN Committee on Non-Government Agencies as part of the approval process. You can view his address here.
