Overview
Among the programs at Givat Haviva Institute:
Professional courses for community workers, civil servants, women and young adults in the Arab sector strengthen the foundations of democracy and facilitate social change in Israeli Arab villages and cities.
Jewish-Arab youth programs bring together some 25,000 Jewish and Arab youth every year, in the framework of student councils, sports and arts programs, summer peace camps, and Face-to-Face encounter groups.
Jewish and Arab school-age children are paired through the Children Teaching Children program, examining their differences and commonalities separately and then together in intimate seminars.
Radio All for Peace, operated jointly by Israelis and Palestinians, has been broadcasting in Arabic, Hebrew and English for two years, with a message of peace, mutual understanding and cooperation for all its listeners.
