Overview

Founded in 1949, Givat Haviva Institute in Israel has been educating for peace, democracy, coexistence and social solidarity for half a century.

With the goal of creating a better society in Israel, Givat Haviva conducts a broad range of formal and informal programs that resist all forms of racism and discrimination, bridge the gaps in Jewish-Arab relations and promote greater understanding between different groups in Israeli society.

Every year, 25,000 Israeli Jews and Arabs and thousands more youth and adults from scores of different countries participate in the Institute’s courses, lectures, seminars and tours of the region.Founded in 1949, Givat Haviva Institute in Israel has been educating for peace, democracy, coexistence and social solidarity for half a century.

Givat Haviva also boasts a Peace Library that houses Israel’s largest collection of Hebrew, Arabic and English documents, articles and press clippings relating to the State’s Palestinians and Arab citizens.
