Samuel Helfont (New Jersey):
"Barkai is a beautiful green kibbutz and a wonderful place to escape the stresses of city life.
I have nothing but good things to say about Givat Haviva’s Arabic Institute. Along with providing and outstanding academic program, it allows its students to meet and develop relationships with Israel Arabs. This is true Zionism: pluralist, liberal, and with Israel’s best interest at heart."

Why in Givat Haviva?

  • Half a century of experience in the field of fostering better relations between Israel’s Jews and Arabs – major figures in Middle East studies
  • The program is held in a region of Israel populated by both Arabs and Jews
  • The only place where you can live, volunteer, study Arabic and Hebrew and make a difference!
